Left menu not working

Randomly on and off lately when I go left to go to friends list, messages or party it messes up. Either it you can't go up and drown or you see the menu flash and then right back to dashboard. I can still play games it still functions just makes it impossible
to talk to anyone. Its happend like 4 times recently and I've only had my Xbox since late December.

Left stick not working

when I load into payday 2 my left stick doesn't work but on any other game it works fine how do I fix it

Left Trigger not working

Hello, in my pad has stopped working the left trigger. Contacts purged. The meter shows the flowing current. The console is the Xbox 360 Premium from 2006. New cooling (cooler master). Pad comes from Xbox Elite. Battery spilled to contacts.

Try doing a hard reset as follows. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once
it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

hi there, many thanks for your response.

I am now stuck on the white reset screen as shown in the photo in my previous post. if i try to move left to select engliush on the menu, it flicks straight back to bottom right of screen, therefore i am unable to even set the xbox up!! have tried connecting
controller via lead but issue remains.

When you try to Update xbox wireless controller does the Dpad allow navigation Left and Right,
Up and Down?

Directional pad (D-pad) (8): This is a raised plus sign-shaped toggle between the left and right sticks. It moves the focus up, down, right, and left in the user interface. Used to interact with games, apps, and the Xbox One interface.

Try turning the console off, connect the controller via uSB plug/play cable and then turn the console back on.

If you get a message to update the controller, allow it to update.

Otherwise follow the steps in the link above to update controller.
