Left joystick causes characters to just walk.

I have a problem with my wire xbox one controller and it is that form left joystick, if in a video game when you push the joystick all the way up or down, characters will usually run. In my controller doing that will just have characters walk slowly as if
I was pushing up the joystick halfway through which is how you walk in some video games. For example, when playing resident evil1 , if i use my left joystick to move around jill will always be walking, instead of automatically running and the only way she
can run is if i switch my controls to the original one which calls for pressing x to run. This happens with all my other games where basically all my characters do is walk instead of running or performing the normal speed. Is there a reason why this is caused
and is there a solution?

Yeah, just happened to me too, walk into the police station got six stars now i can't hear squat...

Radio, phone, characters don't talk well at least you run around and cause chaos

It will keep automatically turning off after a few minutes of inactivity, even if you are charging it. The only way to keep it active is to press buttons periodically. I have heard of people putting something on the controller to push the joystick up or
to hold a button down to make the character keep walking or moving or jumping. This will keep the controller active, but if you try it, just be mindful that you don't cause any permanent damage to the controller.

hmm lol that is a new one. I'm thinking maybe they clicked in the left joystick and went to third person, there are 3 camera angles 1. first person aka you can't see you person only his hand. 2. 3rd person your behind his shoulder and can't really see
were your aiming. 3. is the camera is in front of your character looking back at your player. Im thinking they click the joystick until they landed on that one. So if they see there character on screen click in the left joystick to get back to the camera
were you only see his hand, if that's not it I'm not really sure what it could be.

Unfortunately you cannot do much at home to fix this kind if issue as it appears to be something with the controllers hardware (internal components) so you’d probably be best off bringing it into a Microsoft store/contact them via live support or just buying
