Left d-pad is not working (only player 1)

Hello. I have a problem with my X Box 360 controllers, it happens that when i'm playing on the first player, my left d-pad is not working continously (it works, but one press at a time). I tried with another controller and it's the same situation. But when
the controller it's connected as the second player, works perfectly. What could it be...??? Thanks for your help.

Wired Xbox360 controller D-Pad unresponsive when "cold"

Wired xbox360 controller; when connected to pc (tested with 3 different machines, same problem with all) D-Pad does not respond to LEFT-direction (left / up-left /down left). After about 30 minutes D-Pad starts working like supposed. Please provide information
how to fix / get warranty fix it. Calibration through windows doesn't help, updating drivers doesn't help, only thing that helps is waiting and in my books that makes the device not working as advertised. Device bought 11.11.2015
