Left Analog Stick on Xbox One Controller

Anyone else having issues with the left analog stick randomly pushing forward since the last update? After I received the update, my controller constantly wants to move forward after a few seconds. It's never done this before and now it's happened in Battlefield
4, Titanfall Beta, and now my dashboard. I'll let go of the left analog stick, I'll stop moving forward and stand still... then all of a sudden I'll start creeping forward. Same with on my dashboard. I'll put my controller down and after a few seconds, it
will just move up and highlight my notifications icon.

since the update mine has started drifting to the right...anyone have a suggestion?

 

Well when I read the last system update, it stated that there were changes made to the sensitivity on the controllers for Titanfall. I'm wondering if my issue has anything to do with that supposed change.

 

Its impossible that that is the case as the update with regards to changing pad sensitivity isnt out until march

 

it is most likely damage to the controller its self as when I had the 360 my controller started doing it and it was a lot worse the longer I played with it it got to the point that it would go through the tabs on the dash board and when I tried to go back
it would keep going to the right it also happened in games it would move my character to the right or forward even when I was not touching the controller

 

I've dealt with this issue on 360 controllers as well. Like I said, this issue didn't crop up until that last system update... and like I said, the left analog stick sits at zero and shows no movement of the cursor in any direction. Then around 30 seconds
later, it moves forward and only forward.

 

in that case I guess you might have to put up with it until march to see if the next update will resolve the problem unless I gets fixed before that

 

I play a lot of Forza 5 and my Left analog stick on my new Xbox One controller ended up having clicking and popping sounds every time I would use it after less than 2 months of game play. This would occur when I would rotate the left analog stick around
during game play while place pressure on it. It got so bad that it would literally stick in one spot and cause me to make wrong moves. I ended up calling Microsoft customer support and they are going to replace it since it is covered under their 90 day warranty
policy. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to replace the controller and I had to cover the shipping which was $7. Seems ridiculous it takes this long to get a replacement from MS. Also, I am a little worried because my other Xbox One controller is starting to exhibit
the same issues. I also own two Xbox 360's and 4 controllers with those units and never had any issues with my Xbox 360 controllers...these controllers would take a beating and still work great for many years; the only thing that ever wore out on the 360
controllers for me were the rubber thumb covers over the analog sticks. So much for all the R & D MS spent on these new controllers...I am not impressed with the quality of the new Xbox One controllers.

Same here my friend. I left the controller in a place and after a while it starts moving forward. Is annoying when editing in project spark and moves forward alone when trying to edit. I think is since the update to make the analog sticks more sensitive,
but i don't see complains, just this post.

Is there any way how to fix the controller from doing because if there isn't i'll get a new controller

 

its driving me insane..i updated the controller and its still moves forward on its own..is there anything in particular that can be done to resolve this? it appears to have started after the last major update.
