    Left analog stick drifting to the right.


    My controller which is less than a month old (the Microsoft supplied batteries are still working in it!) has uncommanded drift of the left stick to the right. I have read online that this is an VERY common problem, the whole console is only a month old!
    It is the updated style with the 3.5mm headphone jack, and is fully updated.

    Left analog stick drifting

    I bought a brand new slim 360 recently and the left analog stick of the controller is drifting. Example, if I walk around in Borderlands and let go of the left analog stick, my character slowly turns to the left until I push the left stick to the right and
    when I let go, it drifts to the left again. Every game has this problem. I tried new batteries, same problem. I sync'd the controller to another 360 at my friends house (old elite model), same drifting problem. The controller is bad. A search on Google shows
    lots of other people complaining of the exact same problem.

    Since I'm within 90 days, think MS will replace my controller for free?

    Anyone else seen this problem? No idea why Google has tons of hits for my problem and I can't find a single post on this board about it?!

    Left analog stick drifting to the right.

    Since the controller is under 90 days old I would have it replaced. I have not heard of any fixes for the stick drift issue. Good Luck!

    Hello everyone :)

    I just replaced the Xbox One controller that came with my Kinectless Xbox One bundle yesterday so it lasted me 8 months.

    The left analog stick wasn't very responsive to Destiny's click it down to run function and the right analog stick was drifting up (making it hard for me to snipe without having to compensate for the up drift).

    Microsoft will replace it as you still have your warranty. However it will be quicker for you if you get it replaced by the retailer.
