    Left analog stick does not always register input.


    My controller's left analog stick does not always detect me pressing up. All other directions seem to work fine, just up is the one giving me issues. If I hold it all the way up it will detect it after a small but noticeable delay. "Quick tapping" the stick
    up only seems to get detected about 30% of the time.

    EDIT: I should also mention that it is already on the latest controller firmware.

    Hey. My xbox controller started to register double inputs with my left analog stick and d-pad. As well, my right analog stick does not register going right. At all. Its stuck left but you can move it up and down and it will register but as soon as you let
    go it goes back to left and it does not register going right at all. Also the double inputs only happen while in the xbox home/OS. While in video games it does not happen only the right analog stick issue happens. And while it registers double sometimes triple
    and more, When trying to get into to anything by pressing the A button it will register it was pressed, evident when the highlighted area is depressed or however you say it. The point is. It recognizes the A button was pressed but it doesnt do anything but
    evantually after pressign it several times it will actually start the app. What the heck is wrong witht this controller?

    Xbox One left analog stick problem.

    My left analog stick, has as of today, been moving my characters *in game*, to the left. This has not happened in any apps, or guide menu. The analog stick itself, appears to be centered as normal...but then all of a sudden without moving the analog stick,
    any character Will suddenly move left, be it in Titanfall... pilot, or Titan..my Watchdog character, and also Dead Rising 3 characters. I don't have the security tool used to open the controller, and I've only tried cleaning the outside of the analog stick
    with a Q-tip. Does anyone have a similar problem? Also, it is more than 90 days old... and I don't have the receipt. Any input is appreciated.

    XBOX ONE Controller lag

    As an update I noticed moving from left to right very quick using the analog stick there is a slight delay on the home page too, however this delay does not appear to be present using the d-pad.

    This is suspiciously pointing towards the left analog stick input.

    Can anyone else try this and see?

    p.s. I have tried two fully functioning pads with the latest firmware (it may be the firmware)

    My XBone controller doesn’t always register when pushing fully up/forward on the left analog stick.

    The controller is out of warranty and i wanted to know if there was any suggested way of cleaning the 2-way potentiometer? Next step is replacing the pot (which is no big deal for me), but i’d like to see if it can be resolved before that.

    Hey StatingCorgi568! I've had this issue with my own controller in the past. I have tried to clean the sensors and parts by taking apart the controller, but it did not solve the issue. The only thing I would recommend would be to change the pot or to replace
    the controller.

    NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE THIS ISSUE. These controllers are expensive with cheap parts. Microsoft needs to address this they know it's a problem. And no I shouldn't have to keep returning these controllers. Fix the problem Microsoft stop being cheap.
