    I believe Valve will never do Half-Life 3, because expectations are so high, it would be impossible to meet them. Left 4 Dead 3, on the other hand, has a high likelihood of success because many didn't care for part 2.

    It would be great to see a L4D3 cause L4D2 is just not so great. Still play L4D1 its just better than 2 ^~^

    ^^ I'd love L4D3 also but not holding my breath. I actually preferred L4D2 to the original (probably because I played 2 first lol). Both were fun.

    @tcruzin Added. Now the game needs to release already!!! The back end of 2014 is looking real good for gamers though.

    I liked these games but I sure hope they add some more cut scenes in 3 if this is to be true.

    Perhaps after the failure of the "Steam Box", Newell/Valve will go ahead with a TF3/HL3/Portal 3/L4D3 to replace the lost funds.

    I was reading online that there appears to be a L4D3 in the works. "A few players of Dota 2, another successful title from Valve, were lucky enough to tour the development studio’s facilities. During this time, they took snapshots of various computer monitors.
    It was on one of these monitors that they spotted the existence of Left 4 Dead 3 and subsequently leaked it to the public". The whole story is here:
