Left 4 Dead 2 Stuttering/Lag Problem on Xbox One X

Left 4 Dead 2 has always ran great for me on the xbox one when it became backwards compatible, but recently I have noticed a few weeks after the xbox one x enhanced update of left 4 dead 2 that the game has become simply unplayable in the online versus mode
for me. It continues to stutter, lag and rubber band me all over the place. I always have a red bar ping, even though my internet is good. My Upload speed is 90 and download 20. I know it's not an internet issue because it doesn't do this when I play on my
original Xbox One, which it runs smooth. There has to be something seriously wrong with the Xbox One X enhanced update that it interferes with the servers or something.

I would really like a solution to this because I would love to play this game with the enhanced graphics smoothly. Thanks

What if my NAT Type is open though? I don't see how that could be an issue

if it shows a red bar ping, there may be something to do with your nat type, you should set up the port forwarding.

Its still doing it. The game acts so problematic that Ill attack some one in game during a PvP match amd for a few frames I will have successfully grappled with the other player(as a special infected), but turns out a few more milliseconds later, nope!!
Just walking atop there player model (as a "jockey" type) to simply walk right off there heads and get blown away. Its endless, tanks are in front AND behind you simultaneously, Wonderful! Charger attack will bowl through the enemy team and while a couple
of them may be sky high flying through the air, the game will simply decide NOT for this to take place only to be teleported into your spawning/death screen awaiting countdown to your next character. Its absolutely rediculous. Comical even. THE LAST TIME I
PARTICIPATED IN PLAYING ONLINE VIDEO GAMES THAT MALFUNCTIONED THIS MUCH WAS ON the Sega Dreamcast. Quake 3 minigun quality right here!! Nuts!

Hey there Solo!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this problem trying to play Left 4 Dead 2.

I would say that if you're only experiencing problems with this one backwards compatible game, then it might be best for you to either try the steps here on "My
Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay". Those troubleshooting steps normally work for most applications.

If that does not work out though, I would then try what we call a soft reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
