Left 4 Dead 2 backward compatibility loading issues

    Left 4 Dead 2 backward compatibility loading issues


    I put the Left 4 Dead 2 disc in my One console and it did absolutely nothing. The guy at the game store said It will work on the One and online it says it’s backward compatible. Anyone have any ideas on what to do to get it to work?

    Hi, there are subtle differences in the list of backward compatible games depending on where you live, here in the UK it only shows Left 4 dead 2 as being backward compatible, in the USA list it shows both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 as being backward
    compatible ( strange ).

    Now those are only the standard versions of the games, the GOTY versions I suspect are not seen as standard versions as they contain additional content, that may be the problem.

    Try using a disc cleaner or exchange it from the buy for a different disc.
