    Left 4 Dead 2 Backward Compatibility Help?


    Hi everyone,

    I recently just had the urge to replay my Left 4 Dead 2 copy on my Xbox One after finding out it was a backward compatible game.

    I was able to put the game into my Xbox One, and it was able to recognize the game and install it.

    However, once it finished installing, it wouldn't play the game. It wouldn't load past the picture you see when you startup on any game. It doesn't give me any notification about having an error, it just stays on the home screen. My Xbox One can play other
    backwards compatible games, but this one seems to have problems? Although it has a few scratches, it plays fine on my regular 360.

    It is the regular copy of the original game.

    Any help?

    The Real Deal- Left 4 Dead 2. Could never get this one on 360 back in the day. Dusted it off for backwards compatibility and voilà.

    Hi, there are subtle differences in the list of backward compatible games depending on where you live, here in the UK it only shows Left 4 dead 2 as being backward compatible, in the USA list it shows both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 as being backward
    compatible ( strange ).

    Now those are only the standard versions of the games, the GOTY versions I suspect are not seen as standard versions as they contain additional content, that may be the problem.
