i need to know your error code

turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.

Press and hold the sync up button while holding that button press the eject button.

The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.

and for you to understand this

All four lights flashing = 0

One light flashing = 1

Two Lights flashing = 2

Three lights flashing = 3

Hello, you can tell us a little more knowing what kind of error code you have in the 360... Touching and
holding the Sync Button, (the one is used to sync the controllers), and touching the eject button. Everytime you touch the eject Button with holding down the Sync Button you will see a blinking ligh from the Power circle panel. The Power Circle
buttom has 4 leds, The number codes are the following: if when you touch the first time just blink one led, means 1... Two leds means 2... Three Leds means 3.... and all leds that will looks like a cirlce means 0. you have to do this 4 times, because the codes
are 4 digits, so for instance, first time you get all leds on, 2nd time all leds on, 3rd time all leds on, 4th time 1 led on... this code will be 0001, is a common code related to power issues.

the chrome xbox button controllers did have an issue with the led lights sometimes, it most likely is legit but as they are used and very old then the led is just probably dimming, as its one led that shines through a plastic diffuser

Check that the orange LED light next to the Mute button is not on

No change... Plugged player into front usb port. Goto apps, push 'button', and the door opens. Insert disk push button again closes. LED continues to flash, dvd spins, but nothing else.

That is the wierd thing though. If there is no disk inserted 'Button' will open & close. As mant times as you push 'button'.

But if you put dvd in, it will not reopen, except by pushing eject button.

Also LED goes from a fast blink to the slow steady blink of opening door.
