Learn from my mistake

^^ For me trophies were stupid on the PS3. It took forever to sync the data when looking at them and comparing with friends. I hope that its changed on the PS4. Also I prefer the numerical value with achievements as compared to the color system PS has.

 

^^ I agree, but I like the sound that trophies make when they unlock a little bit more than the sound of an achievement unlocking.

 

Sony uses a color system for its trophies? How's that work?

As someone who owns both consoles I can say without a doubt that ghosts is noticeably better looking on ps4. It is.t really a debate, though youre right framerates do drop at times on ps4. Dont worry op, e3 will probably bring a x1.price drop.

 

Galactic: Trophies have different values(Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.). A person who accumulates trophies will have their level go up but high-tier trophies will make it increase faster.

I like the new rarity system on PS4.

 

Thanks Pyramid; I thought you meant actual colors (like red, blue, green, yellow, etc.). ><

 

If you can own both you get the best of both worlds. I own both and both systems have the pros and cons. It's all about the games for me.

 

I'd rather have trophies personally.

Once I got used to it, it worked for me. Instead of just seeing if someone has more points which could mean he/she hasn't done a lot but just played a lot of games or the opposite...trophies have tiers.

After a while, I didn't even pay any attention to my GS...it was just a number.

The trophies have a level....so many gets you to the next level (i.e. level 8 to 9 then to 10 and so on) and you can see if someone is just a person who plays the game quickly and only has a bunch of bronze trophies or if they are someone who really dives
into the games and has gold, silver or more.

Trophies are quick now. After all....it's a new console.

 

@pick34 I've played ghost on both systems. The game looks terrible on both but does look SLIGHTLY better on ps4 not noticeably. I actually felt like it only looked better because I'm told its supposed to otherwise id not even notice. Oddly I thought it played
smoother on x1.

 

I have ghosts on both and everyone I know can tell the difference on my 60" from any point in the room and that's just changing channel, a side by side would be glaringly obvious.
