Everybody aren't happy with Xbox one.

Everybody aren't happy with PS4.

More doesn't means better,greater,....It's just more with the same disapointement.

 

Bstn, it depends on how you look at it - you're right with the statement you made in your last post (that something is always better than nothing); that is a fact. However, I think what Tzar is referring to is what you said before that (that there are not
enough great games on either console) - that IS your opinion because that's a subjective statement - for example, a console could only have 3 games currently and if I enjoy all 3, then I could say that there are enough games on the console because I am satisfied.
Sure, more is better, but it's not always necessary.

 

Anyway I agree with "most" others here. Get both if you can. Personally instead of getting both consoles, If got the xbox 1 and a god gaming pc. It opens up a lot more gaming doors that way. There is a lot of stuff that sim

 

There is a lot of stuff that simply doesn't come to the consoles. Especially strategy games. Well worth it! I find the console to similar to own both and I prefer Microsoft exclusives and controller so that made my decision for me. But from what I hear the
ps4 is still a great machine. Oh and sorry bout the multiple posts. Stupid phone is playing up.

I would like to buy a PS4 at some point in this generation, but the only interesting game over there (most Indies are cool but not particularly good value for money) is Infamous:SS. Maybe if we see something in the league of TLoU or another exclusive that
totally blows my mind. PS4 is certainly not a sinking ship, more a ship going on a rather dull cruise. Meanwhile, Xbox is going on an interesting sightseeing tour, if that makes sense. Every genre shows up there is some capacity already, much of it exclusive,
and much of it good.

 

Of course we always want more games, who doesn't but at this moment in time I can't say the Xbox One is lacking in games but I guess I'm lucky that I still have quite a few games that I'm currently playing/enjoying.

Forza 5, with my Forza titles, I play them solidly at the start, then take a break but always enjoy going back to especially when having races online with friends.

Ryse, about halfway through my second play through, hunting down the collectibles and put loads more time into the co-op arena modes.

Zoo Tycoon, just recently started this properly and absolutely loving it, something a little different to your usual console game, highly recommend this to fans of past games like Theme Park etc.

Trials, another game I always go back to, well when my blood pressure has settled down.

Peggle 2, very addictive game in the same mould as Tetris, just keeps dragging you back.

Assassins Creed, finished it on PS4, enjoyed it that much, picked it up again on Xbox One, yet to start.

Thief, about halfway through so far, keep getting distracted with other games lol

Titanfall, another game that I play for a while, take a break, go back, take a break .. .. ..

Plants Vs Zombies, want to grab the DLC, like above though, getting distracted by other games.

Child of Light, about 3 hours into this and stunning game, bargain at the price.

So if anything, well for me anyway, too many games at the moment lol

100% agree, consoles need more strategy games, the only reason I still keep hold of my gaming PC.

It is completly logical if you think about it. I don't care about my GS it means nothing to me and a lot of people on these forum are stalkers who like to send swear filled texts to my account which on the X1 I am sharing with my son so no thanks he does
not need to see that stuff.

But he does not play on my PS3/PS4 so I do use this tag on PSN because I could care less and get a good laugh out of it.

 

Hmmmmm very convenient. Anyway not in the mood to hassle trolls today so back on topic. Like I said, I find the consoles too similar to justify buying both. I personally don't like the sony exclusives and I find the controller to be unconfortable. To me
any way. Owning the x1 along with a pc gives me access to a broader library than I would get owning two consoles. Me and all my friends prefer X1 but I do know some people that are total playstation guys. All good. I never bag them about there lack of understanding
of what a real console should be like . Lat part was a joke by the way.

 

I have both consoles and enjoy both if I had to pick one it would be my ps4 and I am/was/is a long time xbox guy but I much prefer ps4 this gen ,that being said I also don't want to miss halo etc so get both win win why miss out

 

You made the right choice this generation OP. It just takes a little with the change, it sucks because you have a 47k GS. But that's no reason to stick around, hopefully things get better till then have fun busting out those platinum's.

 

I have both consoles and I have to say I prefer the x1. I can't use the ds4 controller for shooters. I'm not saying I dont like the ps4 I'm looking very forward to mlb the show. I'm also looking forward to some other exclusives. The free Indies and other
pay Indies dont do it for me. Alot of them are terrible and I have no desire to play NES quality games on a next gen console. Just my opinion. For those that say ps4 has more games but more quality games? No. But the future looks good for both consoles.

Seeing as you were respectful when presenting your opinion....I'm just going to ask if you just don't like the trophy system or what is what you don't like about that.

It's basically the same thing.

Either way....I'm not trying to sway you or anyone else....just wondering if there was something specific about achieves that you liked that the trophy system doesn't have.
