Lean Scoping

While we all know quick-scoping is a fun part of the Infinity Ward COD's, it seems it too has evolved with the Ghosts installment. Today I was playing with a pretty good group who had learned how to quick-scope while using the lean around feature. I tried
it myself and it was actually pretty sick, it, it's fun to do and it makes people pretty angry in the process. Has anyone else been doing this? Has this been around since launch or is this a new thing?

If you lean, the Kinect makes your character "lean".

 

Never seen it, and I'm not very fond of qsing, but since I just started levelling up sniper rifles, I'll have to give it a try.

 

Ok ..... so I walked away thinking about just how that would go. I started remembering how those filthy little qsers would do on nuketown. They would jump around the corner, fire, then back behind cover in the time it would take to get 2 hits on them. They'd
recover and do it again ..... over and over until they got that one hit on you. Even the crappiest qser could beat a guy laying down steady fire with an lmg just because they could recover from your couple hits, yet that one hit on you ended the battle.

Sounds like maybe I need to set up my explosives class on my current character just in case I run into them.

 

Quick-scoping takes a lot off skill this is what's wrong with COD today try taking a sniper rifle in real life and quick scope and see how that goes........ Quick-scoping = No Skill

 

I think qsing is harder in ghosts, but I also think sniping is harder too.

In comparison, I'd say qsing is pretty easy, and wish they could flip the way that works. I definitely dont think qsing is an overall problem in ghosts, but I think my shots should be more likley to hit when I'm prone and taking considerable care in aiming
than when I'm running and just make a quick panic shot. ...... and that just dioent seem to be the case. I dont have a secondary on my sniping class, and while I'm sure I'd do better if I did, I just dont feel its as necessary as in say blops1.

I think they had the formula right there. Sniping took some pratice, but the qsing was pretty difficult.

As far as the lean-scoping .... quick leaning whatever you want to call it. I set myself up in a couple matches last night where it normally would have been a good situation to try it out...... but noone ever came along.

 

Quick scopinin is way harder in Ghosts then I remember it being in MW2. Mind you I am still getting used to all the maps, I have gotten a few with the M12-erb when I find one laying on some frag'd corpses. The maps are what I think make it the hardest,
Infinity Ward did a really good job with most of the maps in Ghosts.

 

Quickscoping is really dumb. Its cheap and extremely try hard. Its another reason the COD franchise is slowly going down the drain. Sigh If only we could play the game even remotely close to how it was designed to be played. All the hacking, modding, boosting,
qs'ing, now lean scoping lol whatever happened to playing games without cheating or exploiting the system. Im not raging or anything. Its just really silly.

 

Quick scopers is just another group of people who need to get over themselves.

 

Just another flaw in the game to abuse.The sooner they remove auto aim from the snipers the better,Then if i got qs'd i may have a small amount of respect for the guy who managed to do it.
