    LB not working on pack in Xbox Series X controller


    Left bumper stopped working, it will sporadically work for a while but not often. It seem to be out of warranty (got the console on launch day). I've tried to find out my options using the Microsoft support website but it just reloads after I put in my initial information and goes nowhere. Anybody have this issue and get some kind of resolution? Hopefully less than a year in it is not already time to replace a controller!

    Thanks for the reply, unfortunately there was a piece broken on the inside and the control is out of warranty. I've just replaced the bumpers myself to fix the issue.

    If you haven't already, I would recommend trying to update the controller hoping that it is a software issue!

    If it isn't helpful, I suggest getting in touch with the support through: Contact us | Xbox Support to arrange a potential replacement if it happens to be in warranty!

    But then if it;s the wrong battery pack, it shoudn't work with either controller ...the fact it works in one but not the other points to an issue with the second controller

    The Xbox One Venom battery pack won't even fit in the Series X controller (or at least not without trimming bits off it)..as the OP can fit the pack with no issue, it suggests it's the right battery pack. Unless Venom have released more than one battery pack for the Series X?

    The Series X controllers available now uses the same official battery packs as the Xbox One and Series S controllers.
