LB button is unresponsive, unsure how to fix it

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

You may want to update the controller first by following the steps below:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & streaming > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.

2. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.

3. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided.

Also in regards to the appointment, you can create a repair order by adding your controller as a device via https://account.microsoft.com/devices.

I am having this same issue.

I have been playing story mode to chapter 3

I can get to map menu but the lb and rb buttons are unresponsive to get to blueprint, player or other menus.

I can control everything on the menu except the rb and lb buttons don't work

Game is not freezing. Lb and rb buttons work during game play, just not in the menu

Think you would be better off going through the warranty process instead of fixing it yourself.

If I understand the issue, its with your controller and not the console?

You can just send the controller in for service rather than the console and controller:

click "Replace an Accessory"

yes its just the LB button its not working at all. the rest of the controller actually works just the that one button that does not work.
