Layers of Fear

OK seeing as it's Halloween thought I'd play a scary game, saw this in the Games Preview and seeing as it's a tenner I would give it a try.

It reminds me of that PT Demo, you move to a different room but something creepy and scary happens, the further you go the more intense it gets. Pretty much like walking in a scary haunted mansion. I know it's in the games preview, but I'd recommend playing
this game, it's already made me jump out of my chair a few times.

Sometimes they have some license problems for digital contents in several countries. It is possible that some games are prohibited or even confiscated like dying light here in Germany. If so you just can purchase it on disc.

Outlast 2 is going to be VERY good. Cannot wait for this as well.

 

That sounds kinda like the
GOOSEBUMPS game. I may check it out.

 

There's a free trial you can play, it's pretty short but it gives you an idea what it's like. It's one of those games I knew nothing about, but end up loving it.

I played the demo and loved it. I bought it on the cheap but I won't play it until the game is complete. The developer said it's 75% done. I like these types of games.

I like scary games, but I don't like it being stuck in one area only

........

A perfect example of this would be Silent Hill 4: The Room

I found it difficult to put down the controller with the other Silent Hill games (1, 2, 3, and Homecoming) and I completely lost interest in Silent Hill 4: The Room halfway throughout the game

I was really excited to get back into the other Silent Hill games (1, 2, 3, and Homecoming) and It was a struggle to want to continue playing Silent Hill 4: The Room

I kind of like the closed in confined space. The house in this game constantly changes though. You should at least try it.

 

Yeah the confined spaces makes it more scary for me, there's nowhere to run. But you're not stuck in just one room, you move about to different rooms and corridors.

Give the free trial go at least.

 

I didn't have any of that stuff happen to me in the kitchen.

 

If you've only played the demo you wouldn't have, it happens a little later in the game when you go in the kitchen again.

 

Kind of what I thought. I played the demo. I bought it after that but have decided to wait to play it again until it's complete. I hear they might add stuff in later like sort of side quests and new room etc.
