Layers of Fear HELP!!

So I just purchased the Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition for $23.00

In the description it says "it comes with both Layers of Fear and The Inheritance DLC

BUT THE ONLY THING THAT DOWNLOADED WAS THE DLC!!

It didn't download the game itself and now every time I go to the "game hub" page

for the MasterpieCe Edition the only thing it says underneath the artwork is "Manage"

when I click that it only brings me to the DLC download..

Im not about to buy the game again by itself for another $20.00 i either want my money back or simply to fix the download

Kind of what I thought. I played the demo. I bought it after that but have decided to wait to play it again until it's complete. I hear they might add stuff in later like sort of side quests and new room etc.

 

do you see it in the queue when you select my games and apps? It might still be downloading.

 

Sadly no, it didn't even start the download lol it only downloaded the DLC part

 

Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on. Then see if you game shows up.

 

Yeah I've done that about 3 times now, still nothing but the DLC :/

 

Does anyone actually have a solution to this?

I'm so sick of people saying just try turning it on and off again..

Clearly there's an issue with the download itself.

 

Try doing a factory reset but choose to keep your games. go to settings then select console and updates then select factory reset. the console will restart and hopefully you will see your game in the ready to install or the queue.

 

I just tried that also.. I still have nothing but the DLC.

 

If you look up the game on Xbox.com

It says the file size is 0..

Clearly something is wrong with the download and it needs to be fixed asap.

What a waste of money.

Sometimes things like this occur and are missed until someone points the issue out, good luck with support I'm sure they will look into it and refund the purchase if you request that.

Just out of curiosity does the standalone game show you already purchased it on Xbox.com or is it showing a price ?
