Laundry list of issues

Well just going to hop right into what's wrong

Madden 16 wont install gets to 98% and just stops

None of the Banjo-Kazooie games work off the Rare Replay

Witcher 3 won't update

Just Cause 3 crashes a lot or when starting the game for the first time will just sit at the first screen that pops up with the title on it then ill get the error "Just Cause 3 took longer than expected to start"

Xbox randomly powers down

When connected to live the store is available maybe about half the time

I have full coverage by geek squad and i live an hour away from the nearest BestBuy so i'd like to know if something as simple as a system reset will help this or should i just take it in and hope for the best?

Blu-Ray Player updated today, DVDs now play much better!

^^ Must be nice... i had to wait for the update when I wanted to play it. Was off in instant on mode for 13 plus hours before turning on. Just another mention on the already long laundry list of issues.

 

Should I buy BF4?

I know this game has had its laundry list of problems. I'm wanting to know because I'm upping to an XB1 soon and wanted to know, if the online issues have been fixed dramatically or should I just wait for TITANFALL and not get both.

Have you tried a full power cycle of your console?

1) Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2) Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. [I recommend longer]

*Important* Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3) Plug the console power cable back in.

4) Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Sometimes a simple power cycle could help fix a bunch of petty bugs. Let me know if you have done this, and the outcome!

Yeah ive tried that multiple times. Still nothing.

 

Figured out the randomly shutting down issue. Apparently the setting for shutting down for inactivity was set back to 1 hour instead of never like i usually have it

 

Have you tried updating your console/games Offline?

 

What's your powermode set to? If its on instant on, that can potentially cause some issues every now and then. If this is the case, try and set it to energy saving and restart your console.

If that does not work, I can only recommend a factory reset.

If you don't fancy installing all your games again, copy them unto a external harddrive before the factory reset.
