    Ive searched for this topic and have tried many troubleshooting options. Ive tried resetting both the gaming services and Microsoft store in my settings. Ive used registry editor and windows PowerShell.

    I think I made a crucial mistake in registry editor as I deleted the gaming services and gaming servicesnet

    as instructed from both YouTube guides and Microsoft help threads. when I attempt to delete gaming services using windows PowerShell using this comand (get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers) that I found, I get an error. At one point during my trouble shooting, I believe i managed to delete Gaming Services to which I believe I reinstalled by pressing the "Get" option in the Microsoft store.

    TL;DR I just want to play my game but when I launch it either through the shortcut or through the xbox app on my computer, the Microsoft store opens to the Gaming Services page.

    I set all xbox related services to automatic and started them. There are no "gaming services".

    Since I reinstalled windows last night "Minecraft for windows" is the only game that has successfully installed through the Xbox app. Ive attempted many times today to install the title "Minecraft Java Edition" which the Xbox app says I "own" and to "install" but continue to run into an error 0x00000001. As we speak I am attempting to install Halo: The Master Chief Collection but like the previous title "Minecraft Java Edition", it has failed to download.

    I am able to successfully launch and Play "Minecraft for Windows" but am currently Unable to download any other title.

    Sorry it still didn't work, my friend.

    May I ask you if you can use Windows Update just fine? Is your computer fully updated?

    If so, please uninstall the Xbox app from your computer. You can do this by going to Start > Settings (the gear icon) > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox > Modify/Uninstall. Restart your computer when it is done.

    Then, after restarting, search for it on the Microsoft store and install it. Try to open it and the gaming services should be installed with it. See if the issue persists and please let me know.
