Launching Minecraft Causes Xbox to Re-Start!

Okay, so I am new to all of this and need some expert help.

I bought my daughter an Xbox Slim 4GB from Christmas and from that day until yesterday she has been accessing the game, building her worlds without any problems.

Yesterday without any warning when loading the game, it normally initially loads into a screen saver which lasts a few seconds before the game finally loads, only this time it caused the Xbox to re-start. It now does this every time she attempts to play
the game.

I have moved the game onto a USB and it still does it. I have deleted the game and tried to run it, still re-boots, I have downloaded the free trial, that plays fine first time (and I know you cannot save any worlds), second time we try to run the trial.
it re-boots the Xbox!

All the other games run fine, no issues.

HELP!

I am having the same problem I've tried switching accounts, Moving My worlds to a different storage device, moving my account, re downloading minecraft, and launching it from the game details option but it does not work if anyone finds a solution please
message me on xbox or post it on the forums.

Will it be launching alongside "Minecraft" and "Magic: The Gathering"?

 

have you tried deleting the system cache on your xbox and have it download the title update again for minecraft?

Phone Microsoft support and they were excellent. Confirmed as a dodgy disc causing the problems.

 

Was not a dodgy CD. We completely removed all traces of the game inc cache (3 times), then downloaded the full game from Microsoft. Game worked fine for a few days and now every time you start the game, it re-starts the console.

HELP AGAIN!
