    Launching game pass downloaded games on PC, some work and some don't?


    Hi all,

    Hope someone can help, I opted for a PC instead of the Xbox Series X because of the Game Pass Ultimate.

    However, on installing games from the GPU library I am having a mixed bag.

    Ark Survival Evolved, download fine, works fine - no issues at all.

    Crusader Kings 3, downloads fine but upon start up diverts me to the Microsoft Store to purchase and wont play.

    Minecraft Dungeons, downloads fine, works fine.

    Doom Classic, downloaded fine. Worked fine at first, but now also diverts me to the Microsoft store as if I haven't purchased.

    The other problem I have is the party chat, it used to work fine - but now I just cannot hear anyone.

    If someone could point me in the direction of some fixes it would be a massive help and would be greatly appreciated.

    I take it you've downloaded the
    official App?

    There seems to be some issues with it at the moment. Mine says I don't have PC game Pass - subscription page says I have. I've also somehow paid for mine twice. I'll need to contact support for a refund for the second purchase.

    As with all these kinds of launches, everyone will be trying to use it all at once. Its probably having some issues.

    I've got the same issue, but I cant even launch any games. I have game pass and at the top of the Xbox app, there's a link that redirects me to download an optional update for windows. But, on my pc I have no download optional updates in my settings so I can play the game pass I just paid for.

    Having the dame problem here. Running with an

    Amd ryzen 2700x

    Ftw ultimate gtx2080ti gpu

    16 gb ram 3600mhz

    Corsair HX750 PSU

    I've had this problem with Wolfenstein 2, as well as gears of war 5. Other games work fine and thats includ8ng wilfenstein 2 after waiting for a few "months."

    Other than that, dont really have too many issues (other than the horrible layout of the xbox game bar.) Hope this is a big enough issue to be looked at being resolved, because it jas been goong on since the creation of the beta.
