Launch fails, digital games

Network and services checkout fine in my Xbox One X settings. I've attempted to launch Division 2 then Battlefield 4, they won't. Notification says Sorry took longer than expected. Haven't tried other titles as of yet. This browser is working fine, haven't
checked other apps. This is my Home Xbox and there are 2 other Xboxes in my residence. My house network is fine and my connection to the web is strong as I have 2 persons that have been working from home while I am gaming. This is a new issue I have never
experienced before and I'm referring to the game launching fails. All my games are digital. All my games are listed in the internal/external HDs. Others do not launch either. My next step will be a hard restart of my console as of 9:30 am PDT. 9:50 am; while
this console's power cord was disconnected I checked my other console (which is an Xbox One with a third party power pack that I unplug when not in use do to the power pack fan having a problem of intense, increased speed thus noise <sounds like fan is going
to fly out of the power pack>) I plugged power in, started console with all working normal, games launching fine. Plugged in this console, it booted up and is fine now. Unplugging power for a full reboot fixed the problem. I recall a Microsoft tech telling
me it clears a system cache in the OS (can't remember exactly what cache is called, but remember having to manually do a dumb of same when I was a big PC gamer.

Did a hard restart to reboot console and that solved the issue. My understanding is the OS on a reboot dumbs a system cache that clears for connections. Same as a PC that needs to be done manually, especially when you're playing and connecting to several
different game services repeatedly.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to get this dealt with. I can totally see how this could throw anyone for a loop, but this is what we're here for. I suggest trying a soft reset of the console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

To do so, follow the steps here on
How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One, select the option denoted reset and keep my games and keep my games & apps,
and let us know how that helps with the issue.

Moved everything to my external drive, did a soft factory reset and no luck. Still the same issue. Half he time it won't turn on with the controller either and I have three if them, updated software.

Hi there,

Are you using an external HDD? perhaps try using another source and see if the problems persists? You may need to re-download the game.
