    Launch Edge Browser on Xbox One - Error 0x80040200


    Hi,

    Whenever I try to launch the Edge browser by XOne Home > Games&App ->Edge Browser or via sample app using LaunchUriAsync, I am seeing following error :

    "Give it another try - If you keep seeing this, turn off your Xbox by pressing and holding the power button for 10 secs. Then turn it back on and try your action again. ( 0x80040200 )"

    I see this error after I see the Edge IE spash screen.

    How to resolve this?

    Edge dont Start

    Hi all,

    the edge Browser on my Xbox one dont start. Just the starting screen with the edge Logo appears and the it crash back to Homescreen.

    Known Bug or an error specific to my Xbox?

    You're saying youtube is working perfectly fine on the edge browser through your xbox one? Could you please take and post a pic in your response, as I dont believe you. Maybe you believed we were talking about the new edge browser that was never launched
    on the xbox one. I can see why you would be confused.

    we have the same issue, we were playing the beta it froze and kicked us out, now when we try to launch we get the 0x80040200 error, we have tried holding power for 10+ seconds that does nothing (xbox one elite), have tried unplugging the xbox, have tried
    uninstalling multiple times and various permutations of all of these with no luck -- help?

    Are you having trouble viewing content in your browser on Xbox One? And are you comparing settings against the new Edge on a PC to Xbox One? I don't believe they have updated Xbox One's browser to the new Edge yet.
