latest xbox live update wont download on xbox 360

hi my console wont download the latest update it gets about 80% through the download and then says it cant process it and comes up with the error message 43c5 440b 1380 0700 c000 000e and wont continue. The console is connected directly to a router via ethernet
cable and the interent connection is working fine. iv tryed clearing the cache, and also deleting the latest update but doesnt make a difference. theres plenty of space on my hardrive (10gb+) and everything else on the console works fine, including my live
service before the update (june 19th i think). iv contacted live support and other than the things iv already tryed the only other thing they suggested is transferring the update to my console via usb or cd/dvd but i dont have cd writers or usb drives i dont
even have a pc at my house so cant really do that... after getting frustrated with there customer service iv decided to cancel my account and not use xbox any more as im fed up with microsofts 'support' however the person on support thinks the best they can
do refund wise is to refund any purchases iv made in the last 30 days (by form of credit into an account i cant access??) id be happy enough with a refund for all purchases made in last 30 days even though theres hundreds of pounds worth of more content than
that built up over the years, but them crediting money to an account i cant access or use is pretty pointless... just wondering if anyones got any advice regarding the latest xbox live update or experiance of having there account refunded? at the end of the
day i will except there credit just for the fact it means they lose it but it doesnt help me at all. its a shame to see how they treat loyal customers.

downloading update problems

Hi, When i go to join xbox live it comes up with downloading update please wait, then it wont download and reads there is a problem downloading an update please try again later and i cant access xbox live on my xbox 360. ive tried
many times it always comes up with this, can someone please help me. Thank you

How is it support's fault you don't have basic PC access? CD technology is from the 90s. Go to a library or any other place with a public computer and download it to a USB stick. Coffee shops, Libraries, the list goes on. Ask a friend to use their computer.You
can buy a USB stick at a dollar store.

Your error is peculiar, but not that uncommon. LB + RB + X twice on the Storage screen, and make sure you have no incomplete or corrupt downloads on your HDD. Try it again. If it doesn't work I highly suggest moving into the 21st Century.
