Latest Xbox App Update Problems (Crashing)

The latest beta is still crashing for me too.

It worked when I first signed into it. My friends list loaded in and it didn't crash.

Once I had exited the app, every time I launched it after that, it crashed as soon as the friends list popped in, just like before.

I've submitted another bug report through the app.

Skype Crashing on Xbox One - Dec 26, 2015

There's an update on the Skype Community about the work from the Skype and Xbox One developers towards a fix for the Skype app problems:

Xbox Fitness issues

I'm glad they're working on fixing the stamp card issue but there must have been an issue with the latest update. I've never had any issues with the Fitness App crashing until immediately after downloading the update. Now the app is unplayable. Please
fix!

I can't even make it to the friends list...

My Xbox app, Xbox beta, and Smart Glass apps are crashing immediately upon launch, I see the green loading screen for a fraction of a second then crash. Very frustrating.

 

just updated app today and B button issue is now fixed.. another issue has spawned from it.. when using your keyboard to type its crashing the beta app

 

bah, amazing. before i even found this thread i had figured out it had to do with having too many friends.... I am going to try the beta app and see how that works out.

Just a wee heads up that the Beta Xbox app has been updated today to version 9.9.25033.00000.

It no longer crashes for me on the default friends list.

It still says that it can't show my friends at the moment to try a refresh. (Maybe I have too many friends)

Switching to followers or favourites, the lists populate fine.

Everyone, please update the beta app to the newest version, 9.9.25033.00000, and let me know if the crash is still happening for you! If you are experiencing what Wee Bear is where your Friends aren't loading, please let me know so that I can pass that on.

Is it because i have no xbox one just a 360 and no xboxlive gold membership ???

Thanks, JcTrickY! In the Beta app, are you able to submit feedback using the smiley face? Another user is unable to launch the app at all, so if you are able to at least get to another part of the app, you should be able to submit feedback.

The Wee Bear - If you could, please submit feedback about your situation, too! They want to be able to look into your different situation through that.
