Latest update messes up video apps. Makes screen dark and shows unwanted achievement stuff...

Not sure about the sync issue, but the Blu-ray app on my XB1 S keeps wanting to update every time I go to the update section in "my games & apps". And also 4k playback isn't working.

It seems the latest console update messed up the Blu-ray/video playback in many areas.

Microsoft Updates CAN stuff up hardware and software programs you use. Fact. It stuffs up Hauppauge Capture (popular software used for recording video gaming videos to share on YouTube). I use the Xbox App too, and have a laptop and custom desktop gaming
PC both use Windows 10. They also have Xbox Smartglass on Android and Apple phones. Or do you have a Nokia Windows 10 phone? Make sure the device you're Xbox app is on, and your console, are connected to the same home network you use. Make sure all devices
have the latest software update. If it fails, for official support, contact Xbox Support.

Same stuff happened to me yesterday. I unlocked an achievement in Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360, it popped on the screen. When I look at the list of games, it shows I unlocked 71/95 achievements in the game, but when I click on the game to show all achievements
in it, it shows 72/95. Interestingly, as soon as it unlocked, I opened up the list of games and it was correct, but after a minute or so when I checked again, it was messed up. Similarly, it's not added to my gamerscore too.

Mine has started this stuff as well. Can't watch a 30 minute show without the video stuttering and messing up for the last week or so.

Fix the update to where the recommended video will change from time to time. what the hell was the point of this update anyway, all it did was mess stuff up like a majority of the xbox updates.
