Latest update has broken Titanfall completely

I get the connection to server has timed out after almost every other match. I also noticed i get the little yellow notification next to my load outs, and burn cards, etc..even after i've already checked them. Neither of those issus are game breaking, but
it is annoying.

 

Things have been messed up for me since the update.

Problem #1 - I play with the same party most nights. Since the update, several times a night, matchmaking splits up our party onto different teams. We have to back out of the lobby or game and put the party back together.

Problem #2 - The group I play with are all decent players. We win 60-65% of our games. Recently we had an old friend buy the game and start playing with us. He's first Gen. Six of us on the team with five of us Gen 5-7 and one Gen 1. The opposing teams were
ALWAYS scrubs. Most Gen 1 or 2. We won something like 19 of 20 games.

Fast forward to last couple of nights. New guy is gone so it's just us Gen 5-7 players. Now EVERY team is full of Gen 7-10 who proceed to destroy us. Repeatedly. We've gone something like 3-17 our last 20 games and have been miserable.

How can having one person on your team make that much of a difference? They need to fix it or turn off skill based match making.

 

Game runs fine in game. In a given hour of play however I'm usually dumped to the front screen by the "Lost Connection" nonsense just about about every match. And for at least the first few times I try search for a match. Good thing the actual game plays
smooth as ice.
