Latest update has broken Titanfall completely

Disagree OP. Update has restored the game to how it was for me at launch: PEFERCT. No lag, no chop, nada. The only thing I'm getting are server disconnects when I'm trying to change kits.

 

It's been totally fine for me, in Europe. It cuts me off from the server from time to time in the loadout screen before I go to lobbies. But apart from that it's the same as it was before.

 

In a sense things seem better now, mother if you will. The only thing I don't agree with is that now you CAN"T cap the flag or even Return it WHILST in a TITAN. I understand people used the styder strategy, hell I perfected, but there's always a counter
to EVERY strategy. Jump in an ogre or have 2-3 dudes throw 3 satchel charges apiece at it and it's dead. It's whatever though I still love the game

 

Heh... Well I'm glad that it's improved for some of you, unfortunately it's gone in reverse for me... Although, over the last few nights it seems to be a bit better, just not as good as it was before.

It's still my fav game... Just a bit disappointed at how it's changed for the worse for me personally.

 

weird that when the game first came out it had a much larger player base. you would think that a larger player base would have more strain and be harder for the severs to handle but it seems the servers are having issues now with the player base much smaller
now that many have moved on. adding new content has not been good for this game plus imo the new maps are some of the worst in the game

 

i got an update for titanfall today what is it for

 

you guys are lucky i got presented with the update required screen but says update failed and after trouble shooting with a xbox ambassador i got nowhere so cant download the update and cant play the game without it as every-time i sign in the live it asks
for the update again... anyone else had this issue and hopefully found a solution ??

 

I'm running into the same issues with the update. Makes no sense since my connection is perfect

Hey....XB1/XBL the "gift" that keeps on giving.....took to tech-heads at XBL's customer support near two months to fix my profile so that I was gold again (though, they did basically give me a year of XBL Gold as recompense...so kudos for that) ....but this
console itself is a wonky piece of junk....I give it a C because it only works correctly about 75% of the time....updates for this and other games fouling up, having to eject and reinsert games to get the optical drive to do something besides be inert....it's
got potential, but right now it's as reliable as Chevy "Duramax'' which is sad ....not to mention the calisthenics you have to perform sometimes...jumping up and holding the power button for 10 seconds to clear the cache and then unplugging the power converter
brick for atleast a minute .....rinse and repeat...thank God I purchased Best Buy's in-store replacement plan...so when this thing quits working altogether which I suspect will be soon ....I'll get a new and hopefully updated and improved one

 

TF never had fast turn around for a new match but now it's taking 2 to 3 times as long to load or find a match. Makes me want to sell this game and feel stupid for getting the pass.

 

Matchmaking doesn't seem the same to me after the latest patch.

When I fire up Titanfall and choose to play a game, it will either dump me into a game that's in progress or it'll dump me into a lobby with other people. That's fine. That's how it should work.

However, if my team beats the same team twice in a row (or they beat us), the opposing team gets booted and it starts searching for a new team and that's where you can end up just sitting there for ages while it's searching. If I exit the lobby and launch
the game mode again, it's fine.

I suspect that this isn't related to the size of the player base, at least not here in the UK, as the Xbox One version has been at number 1, 2 or 3 of the all format sales charts every week since it launched, so thousands of people are buying the game every
week. I think it's down to the search algorithm that's used to try and match up players under certain circumstances. Also, this started happening for me after the last patch came out, which does point to changes in the matchmaking being the cause.

 

No!!!!! It is not just happening to you!!! I installed expedition and then tried to install the season pass and now it doesn't work at all. When you try to start the game, it says "there was a problem with your update" and check connection, plus the whole
game won't get past those screens. So now, I can't play Titanfall at ALL!!

Apart from the unfortunate issue you had with your profile/account and the TF update dramas... I luckily have not had any of the issues you've experienced... Touch wood...

Not sure if it's a batch of dodgy hardware, or localised issues that I seem to see from time to time... But I've not had any problems with my Xbox One, and I've had it since the end of February.

I hope you get things sorted soon, and that TF gets a fix too... I want to max out Gen 10 without the pain of having to battle matchmaking. The challenges take long enough without that headache.

 

Been having very long matchmaking times all weekend. OPEN NAT, low ping times but finding teammates and opponents takes way too long. The only playlist that seems consistently better is the DLC lobbies.

 

Sometimes it's kicking me and my friends out. We are in a lobby setting up our stuff and 30 seconds later it kicks everyone out for no reason.
