Latest update broken?

Hello,

Yesterday a new Bingo update appeared in the Windows store. I installed it but since then I have not been able to play. Every time I start the game I see an error stating that Bingo is down for maintenance and will be back online soon.

I commented on one of the MS Bingo Facebook posts asking if anyone else was experiencing the same issue and so far three other players have replied saying that they have the same problem. One of my Xbox friends has not updated the game yet and is still able
to play.

I attempted to uninstall the game from my tablet and re-download it but the problem persists.

Have you updated your console to the latest update by chance?

 

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

this latest update reset all my settings. just had to reboot after getting the update installed.

 

Just download update - Toshiba encore 8. Same problem. Wish I read this first lol.

 

Now fixed with latest update. Had to manually look for updates tho. Why can they not inform on this forum had to find info on Facebook. This is the supposedly support page

 

I am having the same problem on my surface. How do you manually check for updates?

 

Open the store app, then swipe in from the right to make the charms bar appear. Tap "Settings" then "App Updates". Once there you'll see a button that will force the store to manually check for updates.

I can confirm that the latest update from last night did fix the issue for me on my S2.
