latest System update crashed my xbox one

Just logged in to my xbox and it said it needed an update. started the update and it came back with an error. Seems the update corrupted a file and now my xbox will no longer start. Got on with support and went through all the
trouble shooting steps including trying to reset the xbox to factory defaults. no luck. tried offline update and that fails as well. did anyone else have issues with the latest system update?

Can you upload new OSU1 file for my XBOX ONE

My xbox one HD crashed and I replaced a new one . When using the OSU1 file from your system-updates-solution just shows ERROR E101 :< need latest OSU1 file that works , pls help

Wait. My Offline System update just crashed at 33%.

 

No, but a long time ambassador once said that if an update bricks your system that MS would repair it, even out of warranty for free.

Might be worth it to call support.

 

How did you "call" support? I had the same issue just happen to me. Ugh. Freakin' Microsoft and their crappy roll-outs...SMH

 

i used the xbox support site and started up a chat with a CSR. had them help with and finally put in a repair ticket. got label and shipped the device in. they are fixing it now.

 

Was it an in warranty, or out of warranty repair and did it cost you anything?

 

Same exact thing happened to me now and I did all the same steps. I really hope they fix this for free because it is their fault after all.
