Latest Security Update Breaks Game Pass for PC

Hey, first I would double check that your PC has all the latest updates. You can do this by going into settings > update and security > check for updates. Then see it works. If your pc is up to date, then I suggest you go onto the Microsoft store and see
if you can install the game from there instead of the game pass app. Hope this helps.

Try uninstalling the Xbox app and Xbox Game Pass app, then reinstalling them from the Microsoft Store.

Make sure that your PC is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates, and that the Xbox app and Xbox Game Pass app are updated as well. You can check for updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Some antivirus or firewall software can interfere with game launch. Try temporarily disabling any security software you have installed to see if that resolves the issue.

Are you using the Game Pass PC beta app and is your PC running the latest Windows 10 update of 1903?
