This is beyond a joke, for the last year, checking via xbox my latency is over 220, zero packet loss, and 80mbps dl, yet if you ise a 3rd party speed test on xbox apps, it says 20ms, this tells me the ip adress your pinging isnt even in australia, i asked
a few friends in queensland different isp and all theres are over 150, one sda told me to port forward, how would that drop the latency on a unpnp nat, change cord, use wifi, call isp, everything, so why does every device i own including ps4 show 20, even
the speed app on xbox, tells me there pinging a long distance, does this mean my gaming is going through the same hub as the ping test, i cant even get on some games anymore, hyperscape, worked ok a few weeks ago, dicintergration, non playable, warface, the
list goes on, you talk about diversity, yet you cant even choose your own continent let alone country, 195 countries 6 continents and yet games ask US or europe, are you flat earthers now, no southern hemisphere?, Pfft divercity means a great deal of variety

What does this even mean? Latency is not something you "share" per se. You and your neighbor may have the same latency but there are so many factors that contribute to latency that there may be different reasons for you and your neighbors latency. You
may have latency in common but not shared.

The dashboard latency test is meaningless. It has nothing to do with your gaming experience. You will not be playing games connected to the latency test server.

The Xbox does not control your latency. Latency is purely determined by the location of the game server you are connecting to, and the route it takes to get there.

Try to play on servers in your own region if you are worried about latency.

You spoken about latency in your connection, but all form of latency is an issue when you play online, also TV latency.

If you have a relatively new TV with Game Mode enabled, your TV will have an average of 15-25ms but old TV without specific Game Mode, sometime have over 80ms of latency... and you must consider also this, not only internet latency.

I mostly play halo infinate and the latency on that too reaches 150 ms.

The sole reason I have been trying to reduce the latency on xbox for a month is the unplayable level of latency on halo infinate.
