Latency, when are we going to see support in Australia.

After the last update my machine is bringing me back a latency of 540ms. This makes the whole UI, and especially friends lists pretty unusable. On top of that loading the friend news stream is completely useless and seems to be one of the main culprits,
apart from the servers being based in the US. I absolutely don't care what my friends were playing three days ago. I do care about their avatars being visible, being able to join them and invite them to games, or start up the party chat without wondering why
my next gen console is so slow compared to my last gen iteration.

When are we going to have local servers that will work? As in dates, Not years or seasons. Currently my PS4 kicks the **** out of the xbox UI, and I've always been more of a fan of the 360. This shouldn't be a fix. It should have been mandatory at launch.

Well every other game said they were going to finish then they made the games before the first game so everyone got the story. So when will we see gear of war the beginning

Doesn't have to be done locally. I got them with a friend from Australia. We just had to figure out the latency delay in shots, which was about a second apart from when he said, "Go," to when I would fire. Voice delay was the main culprit.

Tested it out today and earlier this week and it's around 180ms latency/ping. When Xbox 1 first came out it was over 200 (highest was about 260). They must be bringing in more servers, while, at least closer to Australia and New Zealand instead of us always
having to connect to the US servers. Heard they're bringing 2 data centres to Australia which should drop the ping/latency MUCH more for us in Australia and New Zealand. It's not entirely our ISP's fault, it's where Microsoft "puts" the Xbox Live servers.

I play Black Ops 2 intermittently and my latency is fine in Australia. Could it be a regional thing?
