    Hi Gamers!

    There are constant delays in the game (Fortnite). I have an optical 10 ping on my internet (Speedtest, PC). When I face an opponent, have creativ or solo knives against the opponent during each fight.
    When I come across someone, these tend to happen: the opponent teleports,I can't hear which direction my enemy is coming from. the game stops and then suddenly speeds up and all I see is that I’m dead. My shots don’t hurt vitality but my opponent does. I tried
    dns servers but it didn't help. I have a ping of 20 in Creativ. 30-50 ping in Solo. I play on Xbox one x. Europa server.I don't have a ping that would be really bad. Yet I am constantly late to my opponents.I experience the same thing at tournaments.There
    is nothing wrong with my console.What would be the solution?How can I reduce the delays in the game?

    Very Poor Network Latency

    Hello

    The latency shown on the network tab is not an accurate reading to in game latency. The number shown is the ping the Xbox One gets trying to ping the Xbox servers in Redmond Washington, for gaming however your Xbox pings the closest server available so you
    can just neglect the ping on the network tab.

    The latency test is pinging a server in seattle so you will have a high ping result so unless of course the latency test on the xbox one is a lot higher than what you get when you ping a seattle server on your pc there should not be a problem.

    Ignore the ping test on xbox network test, that just tests the latency to a test server in the US and is not indicative of your ping to the nearest actual servers.

    That latency figure is wrong. I am with Virgin broadband too, at the same speed as you also. My latency has always been 150-160ms when testing the Xbox One, but that is because it is pinging from a US server. It doesn't test locally. This has been discussed
    elsewhere, and is the same for everyone. It does not mean that you are gaming with a high latency.

    Try testing your ping and speed on speedtest.net using a PC. My ping on there is between 0 and 3ms as it pings locally. If you have Titanfall take a look at the server it connects you to as it tells you the ping latency . It's usually around 30ms.
