Latency issues

Just started getting latency issues again after bout a month, I port forwarded my router done xboxs fix all(hard reset) but today Im getting 300 to 500 ms and 1.00 mps down and 1 bar on AW but on speed test I get 5ms 10.11 MPs getting sick and tired of this
sh*t Xbox I give you money I want to be able to actually play online

Latency Issues

A few times I thought people were using shotguns because they would run past me, one shot and I was dead. Then on the kill cam they had hit me 4-5 times with a rifle.

Kill cam highlights the lag quite a lot.

Also, lag has a big effect on games where it only take a few bullets to die as half a second lag is the difference between been alive and dead

Yeah. Outplayed. Right. I guess latency has nothing to do with it. Aren't you just a clever one.

 

Does your NAT show as "OPEN" ? Also the latency shown on the Xbox One does not represent an accurate reading as it does not ping the nearest server but the servers in Redmond

 

Read it again I had 1 bar on aw pretty sure it was accurate

 

And yes my Nat types "OPEN"

 

Can you try the following?

• Press the home button and then press menu key of the controller.
• Go to Settings > Disc & Blu-Ray.
• In the BLU-RAY section select "Persistent Storage".
• Select "Clear persistent storage".

After that

• Go to network
• advanced settings and select alternate MAC address
  
  
• clear and restart

 

some things:

Your NAT has nothing to do with lag and so on. So open NAT will not give you better ping times.

The Problem could be that Call of Duty is a p2p game. Many ISPs throttle Bandwith of p2p and give all p2p traffic low priority. Microsoft can't do anything against it, because it could be your ISP.

The real Problem is - Microsoft offers MS Cloud Servers for playing Multiplayer games, The game developers has "only" to use them. There are so many advantages playing on MS cloud Servers instead of p2p. There are no NAT issues - there is no lag switching
possible on Servers there is no throttling from ISP because the traffic is not p2p. Cheating is much harder and you almost never see a cheater on Servers. But many Developers don't use MS Cloud Servers for gaming ! They are too lazy to implement this !

If you play Titanfall (one of the Titles who uses MS cloud server) you will see how good gaming could be - you don't see lag spikes like in p2p and your ISP does nothing wrong with this traffic !

You should go to the Forum of Call of Duty and ask them why they don't use MS clioud Servers. In 2015 it's not acceptable for Multiplayer games NOT to use MS cloud Servers.

I decided to never buy a game again who does not run on MS cloud Servers. The first thing I ask is: New FIFA? Does it run on MS Cloud Servers? No - ok no game for me. Call of Duty? MS Could Servers? No? No game for me !

You should not give companies your money who are not willing to give you the best online experience. I work too hard for my Money to give it to those companies.

I have done a final exception with PES 2015 and it was the last one. I can't stand all the laggy p2p crap !

Microsoft should force big companies to use MS cloud Servers !

I know this doesn't help you for your game at the moment - but in the future you should only buy Multiplayer games who runs on MS cloud Servers. I think your ISP throttle p2p traffic but they will never tell you !
