    If we could start focusing on the packet loss over Ethernet.

    Could be a faulty cable, or the Ethernet port on your router/Xbox.

    Try with a different cable and port on your router, to see if it makes any difference.

    Do you have a modem/router combo, or two separate units? If so, how are these units connected to one another?

    Please post up the make and model of your modem, as well as your router.
