Latency Issues with Xbox one

    I have always had some issues with first person shooter games(COD) even though I am hard wired and I know hosting is a huge part of those issues. However the new Modern Warfare's lag is down right ridiculous. The kill cams are completely different from what
    I see. So I ran my network stats and its not terrible, 55ms ping, 90 download and 12 upload. However, none of my other devices ping that high and most are around 10ms. I know speedtest probably uses more local servers to test from compared to Xbox. My modem/router
    are current and configured for gaming so I know there is not issues there. I have also cleared all my cache on the Xbox and made sure nothing is running in the backround. I have taken into account that Activision's servers are probably garbage and cannot handle
    any kind of volume but, I have reached out to them as well. After searching about this issue on the net I am apparently not the only one and seems to be a big issue with the Xbox one and Xbox one X. I was tempted to upgrade to the "X" but it does seem worth
    it just to have the same problem.

    Are there any other avenues I can explore to resolve this issue?

    the xbox one latency issues are quite obvious with the current results im seeing posted. Hopefully this is patched soon but people want to be mainly around 80ms on latency or lower...next gen with old original xbox latency...nice.

    @lionking7001 - There's no problem, as far as your ping. This revolves around one simple fact and it has to do with distance.

    If you were to go to your computer and change the location for a test node located in Seattle, WA (US), you would no longer see such low delay as 5ms towards this server. In fact, it is more likely that you would see delay that correspond with your consoles
    delay.

    Please keep in mind that testing your Xbox One for basic IP connectivity test, has one pre-configured IP address towards this one known server located in Seattle, WA (US). In comparison to pingtest.net, or speedtest.net, which by default are tests based
    on best ping towards a link that has the lowest delay and lowest cost to reach the destination.

    If you haven't already then I would suggest that you start a fresh new thread with a detailed description of your situation, along with any troubleshooting steps you have tried so far.

    Appreciate if you can also provide the outcome from
    pingtest.net     and change the location of the testserver to a server located in Seattle, WA, so you don't try and run the default settings, which is a test based on best ping.
