Latency issues on two separate networks

Been having lag issues online with my Xbox one for nearly a month now, been advised to open the required ports but as my ISP wouldn't help with that I had to do it all by myself so don't know If i have done that correctly then had to change the DMZ settings,
neither of these seemed to work.

So, i was advised to test my xbox on a different network to see if it is my internet or my actual xbox that's the problem, i still got high latency on a different network with my xbox

Does this mean my xbox is the issue?

October 12th update

The two are not related. I'm pretty sure the double Terms of Use accept was a Glitch. If you are experiencing Network/ Connections issues those are a separate matter.

Make sure the new modem is not a modem/router combo if you have a separate router on your network. If you have two routers on the network it could also cause this problem.

Could you provide us with some additional information regarding your home network? To include your ISP, your modem/router make and model, if you're connected via Ethernet or wifi. Also, from your Xbox One console, can you provide us with your Detailed Network
statistics as well? (Settings > Network settings >
Detailed Network Statistics)

That'll help us narrow down the issue a bit.

Please try to check your latency as well as your packet loss by going to Settings>Network>Detailed Network Statistics. It would be a problem if your latency will go over 100ms. If so, please do contact your ISP if there is a latency issue in your area.

I'm not very knowledgeable on pings and stuff but do you have a Laptop or PC available? Might be worth seeing what the latency is on a different device to know whether it's the network connection of the XB1 or whether it's the network itself

I would suspect it is likely to be the network itself rather than your hardware. Is it impacting your gaming or is it just something you noticed? I only ask as high pings and latency don't always cause issues....my latency on PC, XB1 and Series X is around 150 and I have no issues

Same problem for me. The Xbox One refuses to recognize my wireless network and tell´s me it´s the wrong network password.

It isn´t because 3 Iphones, 3 Ipads, two separate TV-sets and one PC finds the networks AND recognizes the same password.

This must be and hardware issue with the Xbox One!?
