Lately when I am doing a puzzle the screen freezes up and it is happening more often

I am experiencing the same issue. At first I thought it was my mouse's battery going bad/dead. So I tried a new battery, but that did NOT fix the problem!! I do not remember when it first started, it was either after I download my first extra puzzle or
after Windows did an update or both. But since then I have been having problems playing Jigsaw; having it freeze up especially when I am trying to move a puzzle piece, trying to click on a puzzle piece to pick it up to move it, sometimes when the game loads
up it freezes, and sometimes after I complete a puzzle it will freeze up/crash.

Hopefully Microsoft will address/fix these "issues"/"bugs"!

Thanks, we have tried uninstalling, emptying the store cache and reinstalling and trying again. On reflection I don't think we are losing internet connection, the puzzle freezes and then closes down back to desktop (working on Windows 8.1). Can open it
up again immediately and back to the beginning. Really frustrating when you have just finished a hard puzzle and can't get the credits. When I tried again last night I lost it all again so above didn't help. This problem happens on most of the puzzles but
most often on Pyramids. Laptop is fully charged so don't think it is power connection either. Hope this explains problem in more detail.

The game freezes always when I am in the City of the Damned. When this second girl talks to me. It's always the same. The sounds starts humming, the screen freezes. After that the sound is still humming and nothing more happens.

Sorry for the late reply, I have done this many times and none of this has worked. It freezes at the exact moment it starts up, when the 'updating network preferences' message pops up on the screen. It even happens when I run the game from the disk.

What else can I do, as we are 3 chapters from the end and want to finish it!

There is no way to fix this. Bethesda games freeze on occasion, especially if you are playing for a long time in one sitting. The best thing you can do is save often in different slots so you aren't losing much time when the game freezes. It's annoying when
it happens, but it shouldn't be happening very often.
