Last used App/Game automatically starting?

    Last used App/Game automatically starting?


    In the past couple of days, I have noticed that my last used app or game has been starting automatically after I power on the system. I've looked in settings to see if there is a way to turn this off, but I have not found anything. Has anyone else had this
    issue?

    Achievements Notification Question

    Hello all! New to XBOX One and have a question about checking achievements through the notifications area. Any time I go to notifications and click "Show Details" on an achievement, the achievement app automatically snaps and the last app or game I used
    launches. Is this normal? I'd prefer that the achievement app just opens by itself instead of in conjunction with a game, or netflix, or skype, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

    Your Xbox Rewards Monthly Stats

    Mine has the following,

    Most played game last month = BF4

    My achievement points earned last month = 470

    Most used app = No apps used last month ? Check out available apps !

    Last used App/Game automatically starting?

    I would start by doing the ol' Clean reboot if you can. Hold finger on power button for 10 seconds until xbox turns off completely. Leave off for 30 seconds, power back on and try again.

    I believe the "beta" instant on / resume feature is limited to games - did you enable that? Also, are you sure, you're not hitting any buttons on your controller such as "b"? that seems to go back through the app stack and resume last app when navigating
    the UI.

    There have been a couple of updates for the store in the last couple of days. Go to "My Games & Apps" and check to see if there is an update for the store in there. For some reason I had to manually start it on one of my consoles, though the other downloaded

    The Blu-Ray app is only for playing Blu-Ray movies. Games should start automatically when you insert the disc. If not, navigate to my games and apps and start the game from there.

    After you redeem the code it should automatically start the download if your console is set as your Home. If it automatically downloaded, it should be listed under your Games and Apps. If it didn't, under Games and Apps go to Full Library and filter by Ready to Install.
