Last update? No friends on dashboard? Other issues in general

Why did you skip on the friends on the dashboard addition?

I was most excited about that. .. I feel like the friends is like a separate thing on xbox one on the 360 everything seemed to flow together

Xbox one feels like everything is separated not one :/

And please if you want to make anything feels separated from the gaming and social experience make it the TV stuff every time you hit (x) on the dashboard very annoying

And every time I hit (b) it starts my game up i thought (b) was supposed to back out of things not start it up?

General Issues Since Last Update

I bought an Xbox One without a Kinect in mid July 2016. Since the last software update I've been having trouble with several features on the console. For example, the keyboard function won't open for any reason. I've tried with searching for things in the
store and finding someone. Both times, it would not open. I also can no longer open the settings menu. Every time I, the system freezes entirely. Lastly, the "hold down xbox button on the controller" no longer works either. It just won't open. I was wondering
if there have been reports of similar errors recently. If anyone knows how to fix them, I would love to hear.

General issues since last 2 updates

I've also made a post on this forum titled "Activity Feed Extremely Broken Please Read" Regarding the same issue LittleMissLisa7 is having.. This is something that a "Power Cycle" "Remove Profile" "Clear Cache" Cannot fix because I have done so numerous
times since experiencing this issue for a few days now.. My feed will not load correctly.. Showing me items from 45+ days ago.. And any Gameclip I create or text post I write and Video clip I share from a friend will disappear from my feed after posting for
about 5 minutes... This issue has come about with the new "Summer" update. It needs a serious fix ASAP

The friends section is still in bata for a selected off people we will get it when they test it then we will get to preview test it probably 2 months or so

I am one of the beta testers I know select people got it but I thought it was supposed to be on this update I didn't know if they dropped it or not but I hope they still do it

Hi, or maybe the problem not is on the disc, some consoles (!rst generation example) have problems with the new dashboard update, or last console update and one of those problems is with the xbox original games. This explains why your friends can use the
games in his Elite version.

Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug the power brick from the console and the outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on to see if it resolves the issue
