Last time had update then I have to update again

Already did this, could try again but last time i was stuck in the update part because of no internet, had to connect an ethernet cable for it to update.

I updated my controller last night. And then today when I bought the Xbox One stereo headset, I had to update it again. Worked fine for me both times.

have you checked for any pending updates in windows update and checked for updates in the windows store.

last time i had it where they wouldnt launch i was missing an update.

I had this same exact problem last night. You have to factory reset the console. It will run you through the setup again and this time the update should go through fully.
