'Last seen' function

When you try to check when a friend last played a game on the 'Friends' webpage, you only get information about what they last played, but not about when they last played. For me this is a problem, because now I have to go over to my xbox, turn it on, log
in and only there I can see when they were actually last playing a game.

It used to be like this:

a) **** last seen playing xxx game, xx hours ago.

Now all you see is this:

b) Last seen: xxx game (Xbox 360)

I am sorry, but this is not very useful for me. I want it back the way it was (a).

I don't know why the Xbox Team removed these details on this feature.

Please let me know why this happened and please put this feature back in.

Choice isn't bad

I haven't seen any latency within the menus, only with the camera functions, & even in regards to that - it's still much, much faster than the last Kinect.

Never really noticed lately. I see why it's annoying and can be confusing when you don't know the last time a friend was on, but I don't see it being too much of a problem. But then again I haven't been doing much gaming as of late with friends.

 

If it's a friend, just ask them. Why not send a message or invite to chat/party/play????

Seems abuse is possible with the old way IMO. May I ask why exactly do you need to know the last time someone played a game???? How exactly does that effect your gaming experience???

 

Why EXACTLY would I need this feature? I have 3 Kids, one of which is grounded. Being able to see the last time & game they played on their own profiles is quite useful.

 

If they are grounded, unplug and hide the console or power brick......... They ask you when play

No need to sneek around behind them.

 

I think Microsoft wasted a bunch of time configuring PARENTAL CONTROLS to XBL "IMO"

 

But the other 2 aren't. Sorry, not going to disassemble my living room over one kid. I like the backup. OP, try using Raptr, or True Acheivments. They'll both rat your kids out and let you stalk your buddies.

Dismantle your living room for a power brick--- seems a bit unreasonable. Still looking to spy on your own children??? Maybe a bit of help on relationships is in order....

The other 2 may let him play so, best to keep it under control for all.

 

I figured out a way to find out the last time a friend played a game - it is now simply stated per game.

e.g. You simply see 'Last seen: GTA V' for a particular friend on your friend's list. Then, you navigate to that friend's profile -> Compare Games -> choose GTA V. There it will say: "Last Played x hours ago".

The URL would be in this form:

account.xbox.com/.../youraccountnumberid
