Last Played Game or App always starts when Starting Party App WHY!

One thing that annoys me about this console is, why does a game load up every time I turn my Xbox One on and start up a party? All I want to do sometimes is get into a party at the dashboard, talk to my friends and then go from there. Maybe decide on what
game to play etc. I hate the fact that to start a party, it has to load up the last game played. i do not understand that. Why cant I start a party at the dashboard and STAY at the dashboard?! Please fix this

Game loads when starting party?

I have this beef as well it is very very annoying that as above says it always starts the last game or app that I played last which you do not want to happen. It always goes to snap screen and then runs the dam game and party setup. Please Xbox sort this
out with an option to just start the party app without anything else running unless someone knows something I do not !

 

Start a party Problem

Non-stop loading icon on "Start a party" in Party App making playing with in a party impossible. Unable to Party/Game when accepting notifications. i have tried turning xbox 1 off, turning internet off, signing out and back in on xbox live account and in
home menu selecting Party app pressing menu button then "Quit" option and still, When i open Party app there is a loading icon by Start a party. it has not stopped for last 48 hours. I have no idea what caused it.

then have to stop the game etc and try again but it always xbox always insists that you run game again Please Xbox sort this out with an option to just start the party app on its own without anything else running at the same time Unless someone knows something

I think if you have Instant On then that's why it goes back to the last played game straight away but of course I'm probably wrong lol

 

The issue is that unlike other apps that can be ran in full screen the party app dosnt have a full screen option. Because it does not have a full screen mode it must be snapped to start the app and to display the snapped view of anything another app must
be running on the left side of it and the xbox defaults to the last used app or game to do this.

If Microsoft added a full screen mode for the Party app it would end this problem as the party app would just default to the full screen version and not require another app or game to be running. Just one of the many over sights and issues that need to be
corrected with the console.
