last nights update glitched my purchases!

Hey so i never use forums so i dunno if this is in the right spot but-..until last night my roommate was able to play as Riptor on KillerInstinct on his account on my system, today it asked him if he owned the game and told him he can no longer use his
shadow lab character because he has no purchased characters and free ones cannot be used. Yet they are all clearly still installed on my system. Wtf Xbox. This ain't right.

Update last night!!!

How is it bad pr ? It's a beta,it clearly tells you that there may be problems with every update,that's what beta's are for & what you agreed to when you joined the preview program.Factory reseting your console does not mean you lose all your saves.Did you
actually read anything before signing up for the preview program?

If you don't have preview forum access make a thread here
forums.xbox.com/.../4268.aspx asking for access to the preview forums & someone will sort that out for you.

Update last night!!!

Prompted last night to update my Xbox one, did this and now all my games and downloads have been wiped. Was like it had been reset to factory settings has this happened to anyone else

Sorry to hear it. If you purchased the characters then they are yours to use. However, those that have not purchased the characters will need to buy them in order to play them. If they have not purchased the characters then they will be able to play one
character per day on a rotating basis.

That shouldn't be a thing though, they are installed on my system and my roommate was Abe to access them. Same system and since last update I can't. How many family's did Xbox just screw over? Having to buy the same dlc four times over just to have two parents
and two kids play? Come on!

Where does it say you lose your game saves ?

It doesn't because your saves are on the cloud as well as your console as long as you are connected to live.

As I said,you do not lose your saves.

I updated my xbox one last night comeing to it today i have found that when i go on you tube it shuts my xbox down their is no curser on the internet browser,

Additionally, when left unattended, my xbox will shut down within 5 minutes,

This has only started since I installed the preview update, but I cannot gain access to the private forums to discuss/complain about this issue.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
