Last gen hold back this gen

I know this may make some people angry but Devs need to drop the X360 and PS3. Its hold back this gen, They are taking money from the X1 and PS4 and putting it on X360 and PS3. Now don't take the severs away just stop developing for it. They had there
run they were great but there holding back this gen.

Xbox One how long until majority of people have made the switch?

I wish it would be soon last gen only holds next gen back graphically speaking.

 

I REALLY hope we get FALLOUT 4 at E3!

I think the likely hood of it being announced it an 8 out of 10. This will be great for current gen ( which is 8th gen for the consumers still rocking the fantastic 7th gen Xbox 360). And it needs to be only on Xbox One and the competitors console. Last
gen consoles will only hold Fallout 4 back from its true potential

 

This is a hard one Z. While I agree that the games are being held back by last gen, it's hard on the people that are yet to upgrade and there are a lot of them out there still!

 

Devs should not drop last gen,but they should release 2 versions of their games.

And not only just upgrade visuals.....

 

I just feel cheat by these dev. They say with the power of next gen we can do this and that. But all I seen is bug here and there.

 

This is why,Watchdogs,Destiny,MGS V GZ ....are wait & see games....For me.

 

Splitting up the development works well sometimes. The first 2 skylanders games were held back by the wii, which is why they assigned a different developer for the wii version for the third game.

 

There to many issues here, the community on the old consoles have a lot spending power. More so than the new consoles.

the other issue is time, the developers now have to build for 2 additional platforms.

I think respawn did the right thing and get other developers to do the other platforms, but it all revolves around money and publishers not wanting to spend money.

Publishers need to spend a bit more money on the developers, and take a little less profit, then everyone should be happy.

 

I'm grateful there is still support and new games for the 360. I don't want to feel like I'm being pressured to buy a new console when there are hardly any games out for it as of yet. Abandoning the 360 users would be abandoning 80% of their fans. They
have to keep us happy, sorry! : )

 

You guys have to be kidding.

PC games have been designed to run on low and high systems for decades. What exactly are we not seeing because a game will also run on the 360? What huge innovation isn't being used this gen because games are still being made for the last gen?

With your logic they shouldn't be making games for any platform other than the PC.

 

Same map size,same gameplay,same contents.....No need to buy or play a next gen version.

 

Map size, gameplay and content has nothing to do with the console. It's the developers that are responsible for the lack of innovation and content.

Then how does dropping support for the 360 change that?

What needs to change is people stop buying the games that lack content and innovation. Considering the number of people that will probably be buying Titanfall I unfortunately don't see that happening. If your going to complain then speak with your wallet.
