Laptop to Xbox Streaming Issue

Hi All,

I was looking for some help.

I used to have no issue streaming from my laptop to Xbox One. But for about a week now the laptop cant seen to connect.

I assumed it was something to do with the laptop however I have brought a second laptop down to try and its the same.

The laptop can see the Xbox One in the devices section, but there is a triangle with the ! symbol. When you troubleshoot it, it tries to install something but the message "Digital Media Renderer doesn't have a driver" appears.

This is making me think the issue is with the Xbox One. I have made sure the preferences settings are correct, turned it of and on again but still not connecting.

I am in know way techie so thought I would seek help here!

If it helps any I can still connect my phone and use this to control the Xbox.

Issue streaming to laptop since update

Ever since the recent update I continually lose connection to the Xbox from my laptop. I still play in the same position.. Is this a know issue or just me?

 

What headset?

XP 500 for me, I stream from my laptop and phone to them and have no issues.

Hmm, wonder what they changed, if anything, as my youview box is playing up now when going through the XBox One and I have had to power everything down then back up again to get it to work

 

FitsHisFace i have to do that just to get my one to read discs?

it also keeps telling me to sign in with the profile who bought it! it's a bloody disc for f.. sake?

 

Sorry double post but this forum works as well as my xbox one, not very.

 

Thanks for the replies, FHF I tried that and it worked for about 3 seconds, connected and then my laptop said device not ready then disconnected.
