Laptop not installing games from microsoft store

I have a weak productivity laptop which I have ordered an eGPU for, and i am planning to install some of my games before it arrives, I have purchased Forza Horizon 5, Forza Horizon 4, minecraft windows 10 edition as well as The Skywalker saga, after trying to install all of these minecraft is the only one that starts downloading at all, when trying to install any other game directly from the page clicking the blue install button will just turn it grey and not do anything, and when installing from my library the disk spins and it will ask me (sometimes) which drive to put it on and then the wheel will spin till it tells me that something happened on our end. I have heard that windows will try to prevent installing games that will not run on the hardware but I just want it to be pre-installed for when I get me eGPU

Don't worry we will work on this together. Can you please check if your Windows has an update? If there is, please update it then try to install again. Thanks!

depends how weak the laptop is, not just as simple as adding an external gpu, the cpu must be capable too and have enough ram.

Update:

After installing from game page the grey button appears for a bit, then an error pops up but its now at least added the game to the install queue, will update with progress

On his laptop, sign into the Microsoft store and the Xbox App (download from the store). Then go to owned games in the store and search for Minecraft. You should be able to install it from there

I have purchased games from the microsoft store from my laptop. When I logged into my xbox it was waiting in my ready to install area. So you can use a PC also.
