Lapse in XBL Gold impacting my ability to play/ownership for DL'd games?

Hello,

I seem to be having some issues with permissions for loading/playing games. I have 2 xbox one's and run 2 XBL Gold subscriptions. Some of my games will no longer load under either Gold profile; Overcooked, a Games with Gold title from last year no longer
loads due to a permission error. Same with Roblox (which is a free to play anyway) and also Halo: Master Chief Collection. I haven't tried any other games at this point, but the ownership time across even just those 3 spans a great deal of time. The Halo:
MCC title was a bundle with a pre-S xbox.

Not a lot of this is adding up to me. One of my Gold subscriptions lapsed recently, but I renewed relatively quickly after realizing it...but the Gamertags and account info for each (including the xbox hardware) has not changed in years. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling
the games to no avail.

Even a slight handshake issue with the Gold lapse on one of the accounts doesn't make sense, as they should still be able to be played offline...and the fact the H:MCC won't load on either profile when it was bundled with the hardware...not sure here...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to download and install some games on your Xbox One console.

Our suggestion here is to
power cycle of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

if your gold lapses then it will use the disc version for authenticating ownership. until then the gwg licence supersedes the disc.

I'm not aware of any changes which immediately impacted my ability to connect to XBL. There was a few months where I didn’t even turn on my Xbox, and during that time a major XBL update was released and I also updated my router.

appreciates Game with Gold and the ability to play games for free.

does not care if they're glorified rentals, because has not let his Gold lapse for the last seven years...so that won't be a problem.

would like to thank Microsoft for offering this service so promptly, considering all the games on XB1 are relatively new.

Correct. Via phone support any supervisor you can/may/do reach will have perceivably no impact or ability to 'move your case along'. Simply wait for your UA to come full circle and complete OR file a BBB complaint against Microsoft if the time you were
quoted by XBL support when you raised your UA has severely lapsed (several weeks to months) and you believe you've waited long enough for your account to be recovered/released/returned to you.
